Hope of Spring
Mar 29, 2020

My wife and I took a walk at a local park Saturday. We regularly take walks most of the year, but the practice takes on new meaning when coping with a state Stay at Home mandate.

In literature, spring has long served as a metaphor for hope. I dare say, seeing the initial signs of spring during a pandemic moves it from metaphor to concrete expression.
