One early spring weekend a few years ago, I was working in Columbus, OH. With three hours between morning and afternoon appointments, I brought a bike for a noon ride. The closest riding path was in Scioto Audubon Metro Park, a park I had never visited.
In the shadows of downtown Columbus, Scioto Audubon is 120 acres of reclaimed urban wasteland along the the Scioto River. In addition to playgrounds and multi-use paths, the park is home to the Granger Audubon Insurance Center. Within minutes of snapping on my helmet, I was stopping for photos, even though my only camera was an iPhone 3S.
